Be 100% Prepared

Forget about perfection, profe.  We’re going to focus on understanding, and make sure to simplify your teaching, not complicate it. In this course, we’ll work to embrace the idea that small mistakes are part of learning. You’ll feel more confident using Spanish, knowing it’s the best way for your students to learn, and you won’t need to be perfect to see progress.

Small Steps = Big wins

We’ll break everything down into manageable chunks. You don’t need to overhaul everything at once!  Let’s start small, using Spanish for daily tasks or routines, and watch how these little changes build up everyone’s confidence. You’ll gradually introduce more Spanish into your day-to-day teaching, without the pressure to do it all immediately. Each small step will lead to big wins for both you and your students.

Reflection & Adjustment

My colleague used to say: “Reflective teachers are effective teachers” — and you’ll hear me repeat this!  Let’s reflect on what’s working and adjust as needed, all while keeping Spanish at the center of our classrooms.  You’ll learn how to stay confident and adjust without abandoning your goals, making teaching in Spanish feel like a natural part of your classroom routine, without second-guessing.

Student Success & Engagement

Get practical, actionable tips to help you gain student buy-in, manage resistance, and keep them engaged with fun, interactive activities.  Plus, you’ll discover strategies to handle classroom behavior in Spanish, allowing you to maintain control and keep the immersion process flowing smoothly. Students will be excited to participate, and you’ll feel empowered to lead them!

Teach in Spanish for Life

This is more than a quick fix, profe.  We’ll learn how to make immersion sustainable over time, so it doesn’t burn you out.  With strategies to keep Spanish alive in your classroom long-term, you’ll learn how to expand immersion at different proficiency levels and create a community of support with fellow teachers for ongoing growth and success.  Keep the momentum going, long after the course is over.

Are you ready to take ownership of your classroom and make it a full-Spanish learning zone?

Direct Grammar and Vocab is Out. Stress-Free Spanish is In. Introducing: Más Español, Menos Estrés

A program created to help Spanish teachers at all levels — whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your approach by boosting engagement, focusing on language acquisition, and building a classroom culture focused on success and confidence.

What you learn in this course applies to all seasons of teaching.

Whether you’re a new teacher or a veteran teacher who’s ready to ditch the grammar charts and use more context, Más Español, Menos Estrés will help you use more Spanish in class with easy planning systems that support you and your students.

You’re not just buying a course, profe — you’re receiving a step-by-step system that makes teaching in Spanish simple, effective, and sustainable. With practical tools and actionable strategies, you’ll learn how to increase Spanish use in your classroom without feeling overwhelmed or burned out.

POV: You enter your classroom confident each day, knowing you have the routines and systems to focus on Spanish acquisition.

Maybe that’s the “dream” but right now your “real life” classroom feels a little more like…

"My students are resistant or don’t understand."

You worry that students will push back, get frustrated, or tune out. Maybe you’ve tried before, and it felt like a battle.

"My Spanish isn't good enough or maybe it's not the 'right' Spanish."

You feel pressure to speak perfectly, and the fear of slipping up keeps you from using Spanish freely in front of your students.

"My students are at such different levels—how do I make it work for everyone?"

In a mixed-level class, it’s tough to keep everyone engaged without overwhelming beginners or boring advanced learners.

"I’m already stretched thin—won’t this just be more work?"

Between grading, lesson planning, and classroom management, the idea of adding full immersion feels exhausting.

"What if students don’t stay engaged?"

Keeping students focused and participating in Spanish feels like an uphill battle, especially when they default to English.
